AI Content & Images Disclosure

Last updated: October 9, 2026

We want you to know exactly how our recipes and images are made.

How recipes are made

  • Recipes are drafted with the help of AI tools, then edited for real-kitchen quantities, times, equipment and substitutions.
  • Every published recipe is reviewed and approved by OurCheff. The approval line on each recipe (for example, “Approved by Michaelangelo Larive, OurCheff”) names who signed off.
  • Diet labels (keto, AIP, low-calorie and so on) are checked against the ingredient list as written. Always check your own ingredient labels.

How nutrition is calculated

Nutrition facts are estimates calculated per serving from USDA FoodData Central data (SR Legacy and, for a few branded products, FDC Branded Foods). Real values vary with brands, portion sizes and cooking losses.

Images

  • Many photos on this site, including some finished-dish and step-by-step images, are AI-generated illustrations. Each one is captioned “AI-generated illustration.”
  • AI images show what a step or dish should roughly look like. They are not photos of the exact batch that was tested. Your dish may look different.
  • We plan to replace finished-dish images with real photos from OurCheff kitchens over time, and will caption real photos differently.

What we never do

  • Publish fake reviews, ratings or testimonials
  • Invent chefs or credentials
  • Present AI images as real photographs
