CheffApproved exists for one reason: to share the recipes private chefs actually cook for real clients. Michaelangelo Larive built OurCheff, a private-chef company, around that standard: menus that work in a client’s kitchen, meet real dietary needs, and still feel like a treat. This site is the public library of that standard.

Built for real households

Every recipe here is written for four servings, with a scaler up to ten, because that’s how client meals actually get planned. The categories cover what clients ask for most: keto, AIP, satisfying low-calorie cooking, and fun-but-healthy food for picky kids (think butternut squash mac and cheese made with nutritional yeast). Tips, substitutions and storage notes come from how chefs cook under time pressure, not from theory.

What “CheffApproved” means

The promise is simple. If a recipe carries the CheffApproved mark, it has been reviewed and approved by OurCheff before it goes live. AI helps us draft, structure and illustrate recipes; people approve what gets published. Nutrition numbers are estimates calculated from USDA FoodData Central, and we label them that way. We don’t publish fake reviews, invented chefs or made-up testimonials.

OurCheff is a private-chef company that has cooked for households across Southwest Florida since 2022. Michaelangelo Larive founded it and still runs it.

OurCheff cooks for busy families, CEOs and executives, and households that are simply too busy to cook. Much of that work is built around specific diets, like keto, AIP and low-calorie eating, and around families with picky kids who still need to eat well. Those same requests shape every category on this site.
